Rickston – I had a nice future which I gave up

I don’t have an excuse as to why I’m on the streets. The way I grew up, I did grow up without a mother and father but they are not passed away, they are still here. Because they didn’t want me to see how they were living their lives, robbing and stealing from people, I went to my aunties, cousins and uncle. I go stay there, they left me to grow up with them. I was 16 years old. I did grow up nice by my aunties in Saldanha Bay.

I did cross country it was my job for Borland that place in Parow with the yellow and black and the white. 2005 Kimberley, 2006 Polokwane and 2008 Mpumalanga. I had a nice future, I have so many medals. I don’t know why I gave it up to live on the streets.
