How do you stay connected to your South African Roots living abroad?
Well, firstly I am very fortunate that I live in London where there is a large South Africa Community. We have lots of South African shops where we can get biltong, Nick Naks, Ghost Pops, Ouma rusks and boerewors which is always a massive help. The South African community adopts you very very quickly and helps you settle down in your new country. So you end up with a big group of South African friends. So while you are integrating into a new country you still have a taste of South Africa with you all the time. We also get very good coverage of Tri-Nations rugby, or now the rugby championship. There is a big South African culture in London so it is very easy to stay connected.
